Well, I’ve been around horses for most of my life. I bought tons of tack along the way. After I got married my husband realized just how much tack I owned. He said, “You could open a store!” I got to thinking about that and said to myself, “Self, just try it.” So I had some yard sales in 2005 and found out there were much more horsey people than I thought in Erwin, NC. I moved on to loading the truck and going to local horse shows and local festivals.

Now Cat’s Tack has been able to expand to internet sales. My goal for Cat’s Tack is to offer customers great quality tack at discount prices. Cat’s Tack is not yet a brick and mortar store so we can offer very competitive prices on most items we carry.
